HELL YEAH, JIM LOCKEY & THE SOLEMN SUN!

Following on from a year of solo shows, The Solemn Sun joined Jim and they released 2010's debut 'Atlases' on istartedthefire - Jim's own record label.

During the touring of 'Atlases', JL&TSS were spotted by a certain Frank Turner. Perhaps as a result of this meeting, the band would go on to sign to Xtra Mile Recordings.

JL&TSS released 'Death' on Xtra Mile in early 2012. The touring cycle for this album saw the band complete several UK tours and a tour of America opening for Dropkick Murphy's (the tour included JL&TSS's first eve headline show across the pond). They also backed Frank Turner as part of his extended backing band, as well as a month long UK tour in support of Frank Turner's full band and solo shows.

2013 saw the band complete another number of UK tours, festival shows, and the release of a new single from album number three, which the band are currently working on.
